It’s chuckling from a homeless person
that sounds too insightful,
like the inner joke is too clever
and has a whole education behind it.
Like in the Little Princess book
when that child notices the tattered coat
must once have been from a high quality life,
as if some people aren’t meant to be poor,
and some people are.
Let’s get serious, this is about predestination,
the remnant of pre fallen man
a conscience that surely must be the homing device
no one suspected still had a signal.
