Hints of Rage

There’s pain in anger, hurt in hate,

Agony when things aren’t great.

A bitter heart could be a clue

That someone needs some love from you.

Halloween is over

Halloween is over and the nasty trolls are gone

Replaced with thankful rays of hope as autumn days go on.

Then finally the season comes with lights and cookies warm

And Christmas bells are ringing as the snowflakes start to form.

A new year’s here with better days and prayers to humbly ask-

Halloween is over, you can now remove your mask.

Original Sin

The years go by, then centuries, as history makes its mark

and ages, times, and decades turn out happy, mean, or dark.

When children of the future learn of all our selfish heist,

They’ll suffer very horribly like ageless savior Christ

And though we didn’t want to harm that great posterity,

They’ll likely say it’s all our fault with much sincerity.

But as they place their blame on those that caused the living hell,

I must admit that their disgust is meant for me as well.
